GW Summer Reading Expectations

Ridgewood Middle School students are expected to READ over the summer.  Our expectation is that you will read at least three (3) books.  In September, be prepared to share and reflect on your reading experiences with teachers and other students.  You can read any titles that you choose, but do keep track of your reading on our summer reading log and bring it to your new English teacher in September.

Ridgewood Public Library Summer Reading Challenge

Join Ridgewood Public Library's challenge to read books, check out materials and attend programs during the summer. For each activity you do, you will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a number of awesome prizes.

Registration opens on June 1st. Last day to register will be August 15th.

Just by registering, you are automatically entered into all our raffle prizes (except the Grand Raffle Prize). You can up your chances of winning by doing the following:

• Check out books and materials at RPL.​ Next, visit the Teen Desk, show us your receipt and receive a raffle ticket to place in a prize jar of your choice.

• Attend programs. After each program, ask the librarian in charge for a raffle ticket and place it in a prize jar of your choice.
