An activity fee of $100 will be charged for Clubs. Students may join as many clubs as they like for the flat one-time fee.

All students should contact the Advisor for each club they would like to join in order to get the google classroom code.

Track and Field

BF TRACK - Tuesdays/Thursdays

Interested in running track! In middle school track, students participate in a variety of events that help them develop athletic skills and teamwork. The program includes track events such as sprints (100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters), distance runs (800 meters, 1600 meters), and relays. Additionally, students engage in field events like long jump, high jump, discus, and shot put. The program aims to expose students to different events, teach fundamental techniques and foster a fun and competitive environment where they can discover their strengths and interests.  You will compete in meets in May.  Please contact Mr. Franklin for more information.

GRIT (Girls Running In Track)

The goal of the club is to let the girls congregate to learn about navigating life, gain confidence and help others around them - all while training for our town’s Memorial Day 5K race on May 26th (optional). There will be no practice the week on spring break.  For more information, reach out to our Coaches Ms.  Tanella or Mrs. Fortunato.

brain busters

Brain Busters - Wednesdays 3-4pm in Room 207 

Brain Busters is a club for all 8th grade students interested in general knowledge trivia. For the rest of this 2025 school year, Brain Busters will be open to any interested 6th or 7th grader who would like to join next year to see what Brain Busters is all about.  

We meet in school on a biweekly basis and compete once a month against other schools near us, during the school day.  At the end of the year, we participate in the county competition where we compete against several different schools throughout Bergen County. Any 7th/8th grade student that likes trivia and likes to think fast, Brain Busters is the club for you.  New members are always welcome.  Email Ms. Giordano at or Ms. Sutera for more information.

YMCA Service Club

The YMCA food pantry is a local program that reaches 170 families with food insecurity.  Club members will help distribute items to local families out of the YMCA parking lot on Tuesdays and organize collections and pantry maintenance on Thursdays. Each week, 2 - 4 students are needed for both days from 3 - 3:45 PM.  Students do not need to commit to both days nor every week, a rotating schedule will be created in advance.  Parents will be responsible for transporting students to and from the facility (112 Oak Street).  Thursday groups will need one chaperoning parent. Journalism Club-Monday, Jan. 27th Room 204

Do you love to write ? Are you interested in showing off your talents as a writer? Do you like creating stories? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then come to the Journalism club. This club will focus on writing for our online newspaper, The BF Bolt. It is all created by you and the only limit to what you can do is your imagination. All grades are welcome.  See Mr. Ordini for more information.

Homework Helpers Club starting October 10th in Cafe

 Homework Helpers club will be meeting every Thursday from 3:25-4:15 in the BF cafeteria.  All 6th, 7th, or 8th graders are welcome.  Students can get free tutoring from RHS students in all subject areas.  Please contact Ms. Cermack with any questions.

Sports Talk/Trading Cards with Mrs. Cigs every  other Wednesday

Do you love sports?  Join us in Room 107 every other Wednesday from 3-4pm where we will break down weekly games, make predictions, and share our thoughts on our favorite teams (baseball, football, basketball, hockey, etc).  In addition, get ready to test your sports trivia with some fun games.

The BF Diversity Club is for students who are interested in spreading the message of diversity and equity in our school. Students will learn about different cultures and communities in an effort to enhance empathy and become leaders in creating inclusion and acceptance for everyone regardless of gender, race, ability, or sexuality .  All are welcome!

Pokemon Club - starting January 15, 2025 from 3:00-4:00pm in Room 114

Ping Pong Club - Dance Room - Fridays starting March 28th. 

Learn and play the fantastic game of Ping Pong.  Our Club meets on Fridays starting March 28th in the Dance Room (across from the gym). You don't need any experience at all. We have a wide range of ability levels.  See Mr. Mahler if you have any questions.
